Hello friends! I’m Kristin, lover of good books, furry friends and, of course, home DIY. Most of the time, I’m the one writing or creating The Homeblazers content.
My husband Kyle and I began our home renovation journey back in 2020. We had so many ideas to make this house a home and we liked the idea of saving money by doing it ourselves. However, we both have full-time demanding jobs. Operations executive and first responder by day, the one thing we are always short on is time. We decided to roll up our sleeves, make a list of priority projects and find ways to work on them every chance we had.
But then the unexpected happened.
We realized we both LOVE this! Building, creating and sharing projects – our “to do” list has turned into our passion project.
The sky’s the limit when it comes to our design dreams. We have become DIY home trailblazers: finding new and creative ways to tackle whatever ideas come to mind. Sometimes that’s building an 16-foot brick fireplace, and other times it’s learning how to to transform a 1970’s china cabinet into a home bar. This is how The Homeblazers was born.
Our goal is to show that anyone can create high-quality spaces regardless of the time, money, and know-how you have available. If you can dream it, YOU can make it!
